Claude works better with structure

A goal, some context and a few constraints get you a far better first answer than a stream of thought. Speaky Box does that structuring for you, from what you said, in the time it takes to let go of the key.

It knows it's Claude

Hold the Smart key with Claude in front and Speaky Box switches to prompt mode automatically. Hold the same key in Mail and you get an email. Nothing to toggle.

Everything else still works

The Dictate key gives you plain, tidy text for chat replies, notes and follow-ups. Both keys work in the Claude desktop app and in claude.ai in any browser.

Questions

About Speaky Box in Claude.

Does it work in the Claude desktop app and in the browser?
Both. It types wherever your cursor is, so the Claude app, claude.ai in Safari or Chrome, and Claude Code in a terminal all work.
Can I change how the prompt is structured?
Yes. The Context page in Speaky Box lets you tell it about your work, and you can edit the prompt template it uses for AI apps.
Will it rewrite what I said into something I didn't mean?
It keeps every fact, name, number and constraint you said. It only removes the ums, the restarts and the padding, and arranges what's left.
